Life brings stressors, challenges, and transitions that can sometimes feel overwhelming. In therapy, we’ll work together to draw on your strengths and create meaningful strategies that support your growth, well-being, and ability to move through life with greater resilience and confidence.
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University in 1998. With over fifteen years of experience providing individual counseling to adults in private practice, I have also supported young adults and their families in a medical setting. My background has given me a broad perspective and a deep understanding of the unique challenges different individuals face.
I specialize in working with adults, including young adults, using a client-centered, strength-based approach to counseling. Drawing from multiple modalities—such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and client-centered therapy—I tailor sessions to meet each person’s unique needs. I view it as a privilege to collaborate with clients as they work toward greater emotional well-being. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions, medical issues, stress, and caregiver support.
Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to support you with empathy and understanding. In our work together, you’ll find a supportive space where your experiences are validated and your goals are prioritized. My aim is to help you create lasting change and cultivate a fulfilling, balanced life.
